Description:

 The Daisy Model 40 number 111 had several different Variations over the years and If you can prove that I have something incorrect or you have something to add please let me know. Also as with all Daisy BB guns there was a few years from 1942-1946 no BB guns were produced.

Variations:

1940-1941 and possibly a few made in 1946. They had Cast iron Lever with blued  or Copper plated Barrel bands.

1947 Had a aluminum lever

1951-1952 A scope model was sold. It will have the holes in the side of the frame or a Model 300 Scope attached.

1952 Transition from wood to plastic
