Years Produced 1936-1953

Description: 118 Target Special was Daisy's first Pistol. It shot a .118 Cal. shot that was designed for Indoor shooting and all guns were sold in a box that made into a target or come with a target. The .188 shot is Collectible and highly priced now, but a Number 6 Steel shot will work.

FYI... The first patent was given in Oct. 1938 I believe

1936-1948 They were Blued with fixed sights            

1948- A extremely rare Nickel finished model was given only to Visitors during their visit to the Daisy plant in Plymouth Michigan. Daisy was celebrating their 60yr anniversary and called the set a Diamond Jubilee Targeteer Set. 

1948- The adjustable rear sight was added

1949-1952 A Chrome version was introduced along with the blued version.

1953- Production was ceased this year. But some were produced with a painted finish and also some stamped Targeteer. 

The plastic Targets will bring as much or more than the pistol itself
